Organisations ike Vrutti recognise this gap and are committed to creating systems that can make farming profitable as well as sustainable.
Vrutti believes in building a robust system that converts farmers’ knowledge into sustainable economic models through transformative action and innovation. Their core impact model enables resilience, wealth-creation, as well as responsible production systems that help small producers grow out of systems that impoverish them.
As an all-women team at Holy Spice, we are proud to partner with Vrutti and support women farmers in villages near Bangalore, India on their journey to self-sufficiency. Through significant monthly donations, we support Vrutti’s effort to equip women farmers with valuable supplies like heirloom vegetable varieties and vital skills in marketing and participatory guarantee systems.
